Simulation Software for simple optics

Hi There!

I'm looking for a software to make simple optic simulations.
I have a plexiglass sheet and would like to simulate the output angle of a light beam depending of the geometry and input angle.

Do you know some software with which I could do this?
If there's a Shareware or Freeware, it'd be really nice.

Probably easy enough to set up a spread sheet in Excel so that you have some confidence the formula's are correct. freeware is always somewhat suspect until double checked. A quickie search turned up these although my security settings have them come up blank on my PC.

So Trala, did you run your simulation through the software?

If so, perhaps you found the best software for predicting where light will exit a flat plane of plexiglass is a straight edge?
