One of our clients wants to investigate the possibility of using a thermocompressor to mix two steamflow's (one superheated and one saturated at different pressure and temperature) in order to get superheated steamflow. Is it possible to simulate a Thermocompressor in ASPEN Hysis?
If not, are there other options?

There is nothing in HYSYS that could do that. This is a kinetic energy problem, and would take something more sophisticated.
Perhaps there are some methods in the literature, but you may be ahead to contact a vendor, to see if they have a simple way to estimate whether or not this may be feasible for your situation.

use the simulator to het the H going into the unit of both streams. Then mix the two at the higher pressure and iterate the temperature until the delta H is zero between in and out. That should get you real close.

I dont think tehres any such thing in HYSIS either - (could resist). Why is the typo so common?

There are some good links here...

They point out a link to a chart from an older Perry's handbook:

And an article with equations (lots of them)

And for MortenA, maybe the problem spelling HYSYS is a carryover from the older Hysim??? Not likely, but who knows. Ask someone to spell Pro2...PRO/II.

I agree with dcasto, get enthalpies for 2 streams and minimize the delta H to zero while keeping the pressure constant at the desired discharge pressure.
