I got a utility Patent on a new type of gear aptly named 'Sinuous Crown Gear' in the Gambia, West Africa in 2012. This gear can serve as a crankshaft or Cam substitute. But up till now I have not seen any Mechanical Engineer or Institute to collaborate with to develop it and it has not been mentioned under Crown Gears on Wikipedia.
What can I do to place this project in academic circles, the internet, industries and the marketplace?

I have seen multiple instances of a shaft end being used as a cam surface in existing products that have been around for decades, it is known as a "cylindrical end cam" or similar. Maybe I am missing something, what makes your design unique?
