Hello,

Do we normally need to take the charging current into consideration when we size the MCB for static inverters? says we have (3Phase in-1phase out) 11KVA static inverter , what would be a good size that we can use for the MCB when supply voltage is 415V?

The codes in several countries require the ampacity of the breaker and of the supply conductors must be based on the rated input current of the inverter.
The inverter input current will be based on full load current plus the maximum charging current, divided by the efficiency of the inverter.
Some codes may require the breaker and/or conductors to be oversized an additional 25%, or some other factor.
