Gooday everyone! I am trying to find a couple of good (USA Based) software engineering companies who can develop a control valve sizing & selection program for my company. I have only seen one that I have any interest in so far but I don't want to just go at the first one I come across when you are going to spend 6+figures on developing something of this magnitude. Any help or guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Good day,

I don't know any USA based, but that shouldn't be a problem wrt nowadays communication.
Try CONVAL, German based with worldwide clients. Of course there are many others.
IMHO, valve sizing (software) companies should have hundreds or thousands valves database from different manufacturer (not bound to specific manufacturer only).
And in the midst of automation and lesser workforce, they should be able to perform valves' 'health-check' also, assuming they have access to DCS and/or control valves data during partial stroke will be provided by end-user.

Regards,
D

Thanks D I am going to look into Conval for sure, and yes that is correct a sizing/configuration program should be able to do so much more. With hysteresis comparison monitoring abilities through sophisticated instrumentation the possibilities should be endless.
