Sizing Welds for Square Tube 1

I have been reading Steel Structures, Design and Behavior, by Charles G. Salmon and John E. Johnson. And I wanted to make sure my understanding of how to size welds is correct. I have attached a pdf with an example calculations for sizing a weld for a rectangular tube with LRFD factored shear and moment in all three directions. I was mainly a bit confused on calculating fr for when you have all six types of loads.

It's a simple case of the elastic method. I've attached your verification and accompanying calc workflow. Most of the time fabricators try to weld only the HSS workable flats. Corner weld strength contribution can be included if needed tho. You better not be a student tho. [mad] jk

Thank you for the response, I am not a student. I am an EI and I got my PE coming up this year and this was the book my boss recommended as good study material.
 
Draw yourself a diagram will eliminate confusion and avoid mistake. When all 6 loads are present, I usually separate the loads and stresses as shown in the sketch, and use the resulting maximum stress to size the weld.
