To answer my own question , yes we can. I used ctrl+C and ctrl+V to copy curves from part A to part B, and afterwards i use project to create a sketch with it.
Mayebye there are other solutions?

Best regards,

Michäël.

Through NX 7.0, what you've discovered is about the best that you will be able to do, however starting with NX 7.5 there are some significant enhancements. For example, if you've got an existing Sketch and you go into that Sketch and select some or all of the Sketch objects and Copy them, you can then Paste these objects into another part file (or even the same file, of course) and one of your new options is that if you perform a simple Paste the result will be a NEW Sketch with all of the geometry, constraints and dimensions selected in the Copy operation will now be included in the new Sketch. But you will also have the option to open an existing Sketch thus allowing you to Paste the Copied Sketch objects, including any constraints and dimensions, directly into that existing Sketch.

Based on what you described above, if you had been using NX 7.5 you would NOT have had to then project or add the Pasted curves into your new or existing Sketch, you could have either created a new Sketch automatically or added those curves directly into an existing Sketch.

John,

that sounds wonderfull, but we will switch to NX6 and not NX7.5, so i will not be able to use this new functionality for about 2 or 3 years when we will switch to a newer version.

But i'm happy enough with the way i did this right now, because our designers in the past often used curves to create models, but as i'm working on parts i try to convert them to sketches.

Off topic, I asked a question about TC unified a while ago on the forum, and you suggested to contact our Siemens rep. But we managed to solve the problem ourself ; the server Oracle and TC was on had the 3GB switch set in the boot.ini file which is not neccessary on a server, but apperantly it slowed the preformance down like hell. Removing the 3GB switch out of the boot file solved the problem, all the appl. on the server got a preformance boost.

Hasta luego.

Off topic of the original post, but since you brought it up; my best advice here is be very, very careful.
