Hello everyone,
I have an ANSI chain that runs across two sprocket locations that are adjustable. My question is regarding the sketch that makes the simple model of the chain. My goal is to leave the two sprocket diameters alone but I need to adjust the total length of the sketch line to equal a specified length. I would like to have the change in total length to happen only with the 2 lines that are tangent to the sprocket diameters. I understand that the sprocket centers will move closer or further away when the total length changes and that is fine. Is there a way to specify total length of a sketch that is not a straight line? I hope I have not made this too confusing. See picture attached.
