NX 7.5.5.4

I just finished converting several files from inches to millimeters using convert program in the command prompt window (not fun). Now when I go to edit a sketch in the newly converted files I notice that the sketch dimensions show up in millimeters but when I select the sketch dimension the driving units are still in inches (see attached jpg). If I delete the sketch dimension and recreate it, it shows up in millimeters and the driving unit is in millimeters. Is there a preference to change all the driving sketch dimensions to millimeters?.....Thanks,

There is no preference to convert the expression units. Since the expressions started life with the units set as inches, that is the assumed design intent. NX preserves this design intent even if you convert the part file units.

I wrote a journal a while back that will convert these expressions, you can find it here:

I guess "setting" would have been a more appropriate term than "preference". Regardless, it sounds like there is nothing that can be done, short of replacing the dimensions. Thanks.

Did the journal not work for you? If so, I'd like to know what errors or issues you ran into so I can try to make the journal more "bullet proof".
