Sketcher crash ...

Each time when working with the sketcher, NX crashes with the following message : "Ressource not available" ...

Any suggestions to fix that issue ?

I use NX2 on a Dell Precision 490 equipped with a NVidia Quadro FX4500 with 8.1.7.6 drivers.

Rather than have you wait for someone to reply, I'd strongly suggest you contact UGS in regards to this issue you're having. Before calling, however, it would be wise to confirm that ALL of your hardware is certified to run NX.

We had this issue as well while running NX2 on XP on a Dell Precision 670 workstation. We found that the following steps almost eliminated it:

start, settings, control panel, system, advanced tab, go to the setting selection under performance, visual effects. Change to 'Adjust for best performance'.

Let us know if this resolves it.

- turn off hyper threading in the bios
