Hey guys,

Maybe most of you dealt with Chemical Injection Pack. before, but mine is a bit larger than usual.

I need to mount 2.5m D x 3m H FRP tank complete with mixer and two injection pump on each skid.
I have no problem with the pumps which are small, but the tank is a bit too large for common injection package.

Can you guys suggest anything that I can use as reference to design the skid (required dimension, thickness of channel, etc.) againts the operating load, seismic, wind, etc?

Kind regards

DNV 2.7-1 - Rules for Offshore Containers - should be worth a look.

Engineering is not the science behind building. It is the science behind not building.

Well, @EngineerTex, my project is onshore..
I believe DNV is a rule for building offshore container and it's fixing method,

do you have anything else in mind?
It should be simple square frame skid, what i need is a procedure to calculate/determine the size.

kotridge...I believe EngineerTex was pointing you to that document for the design concept. Perhaps it doesn't apply directly, but it might have some valuable information as to how to approach the design, which is what you asked.

Otherwise, muddle through the applicable codes as you would with any design.
