WOULD ANYBODY KNOW A APPROACH OR EXAMPLE OF HOW TO COMPUTE DIAPHRAGM DEFLECTION IN THE HORIZONTAL DIRECTION.

Consider the slab as a horizontally loaded beam. Include deformation due to shear and bending.

Depending on the size of the slab the displacements may be rigid in the plane of the slab. The stiffness of the verticaal elements such as columns, walls or cores must be correct to get meaningful results. Otherwise it is a simple structual analysis scenario.

Further, we request you clarify your question: Is the slab vertical and the force sideways (horizontal) and thus the resulting deflection also sideways (horizontal) ?

Or is the force vertical and the slab horizontal? "Walls" are usually considered a "vertical" surface. Slabs are usually a horizontal reinforced concrete surface, though this is not absolute.
Also, what material is the "wall"?
How is it reinforced or constructed?
