Hi everyone, I am trying to create a Smart Feature of a pipe that will automatically lengthen to my fittings. I do not want to purchase the SW Routing package. The only solution I can see at this point is to make a gigantic design table to drive the almost endless posibilities for the length of pipe. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Create your pipe in-context so the extrude length is coincident with your fitting at the assembly level. Review SolidWorks Help files a tutorials.

Prior to our purchasing our Routing package we used to do the same thing. It was decent enough as long as you don't need to make any changes. Once changes got in the mix things got real hairy real quick. Granted that can happen with Routing too, but recreating a route is pretty quick and effortless compared to completely rebuilding a manual route.
