I was wondering if there was any way to tie a smart note on a drafting sheet a couple different ways.

1st - the counterbored hole - All of the points were placed in a single sketch and the point count is totaled on the top of the Hole dialog at 38. Can I tie a note to that number so that if it changes my note updates? Specify Points (38)

2nd - The Center Mark - I place 4X, 10X, etc on each dimension line to count the number of feature this dimension calls out. Again, can I tie the number to the dimension. Select Object (4).

Thanks,
Matt

Yes, there is a way to do what you want.

[notice that it is my firt time repling to somebody; sorry by mistakes :) ]

-. If have a lot of holes made "by array of features" then you will have four expresions:
distance beewen them and quantity (X and Y).

-. Link each expresion to drawing file and, on drawing, write each value usin text editor (relations secction)

if you whant to write this:

(4x) Ø4.5

You will get something like this (inside tex editor):
(<X0.0@A>x) <O><X0.2@D>

where A is a expression linked to quantity of holes
an D is a expression linked to diameter of the hole

I hope to have help to you
