Snap ring Spec

I'm looking for the reference spec for inch series internal snap rings for a one inch bore. Mcmaster #98409A211. In the Machinery's Handbook it list MS 16624 for the external series but list nothing for the internal. Is it the same spec? I would like to reference the spec on my drawing. If anyone with snap ring experience could shed some light it would be greatly appreciated.
