SNCF orders new trains - that don't fit their stations

I'm pretty sure the manufacturer of these trains provides a dimensional diagram showing it size and width.

On the bright side, (compared to the other threads that have been circulating in the "Engineering Failures" forum) nobody died.
And it's always fun to see the Brits poke fun at the French.

Looks like it affects only a small fraction (1/6) of the stations, and they have plans in place to modify the stations.

I wouldn't call it a "disaster" unless they had actually tried to ram a train through

You're right, not as bad as the French train that fell out of the station at Montparnasse
