It demonstrates being able to have different colors for different features, but can it do different colours for differernt surfaces.

I'm not sure if it will allow different colors on the same solid. I have seen screen shots of Solidworks with different colored patches though.

v12 isn't even in beta yet. There is a lot of development still being done, even on the features/enhancements highlighted in the short video.

Now would be a good time to pose that question to the AD developers. Either submit an enhancement request or find the original post on the Alibre Forums.

I can't wait until they start working with Free Form Surfaces, LOL.

The new look is much better too.

This new version should make many users very happy.
