Hi there,
i am system integrator for automation, i need some info about how to make or specifically need some sample of coding that use to interfacing modbus protocol and PC,
my purpose to catch all the data that sent out from modbus,
from the pc with the correct format.

What type of interface/server are you using?

For a NetDDE interface/server you can pull the information into excel using the following:
=modbus|topicname!'40001'

You have to set up your "topicname" in your interface/server.

I am trying to achieve this also. I am experienced with DDE and RSLinx, and find it simple. Can anyone recommend a good modbus DDE server which will be equally as simple.
I tried Matrikon and could not work it out. That is a crap interface.
Are there any freeware DDE servers available?
