Currently, our electronics plant does receiving inspection manually. Does anyone know of some good receiving inspection software?

If you are talking about visually inspecting incoming parts for quality and quantity, you might try Cognex. ( I don't think they have a specific software package for that, but could sell you the tools to make your own or perhaps recommend one of their OEM's that make exactly what you would like.

Good Luck!

I have used a MS Access database for receipt inspection and tracking of PO status. If you have MS Access, it is easy to build what you want provoded its not too complicated.

I have also used one for in-process inspection of fabricated steel products. There is a demo available at that can give you some ides on what can be done. The screen shots may give you some ideas.

I am currently using MS Access for one part of the inspection. We do visual inspection and many measurement inspections (manually and with the CMM). I would like to automate the inputs and the inspector sign-offs. Thanks for the info. I will check out your websites!
