I am having trouble with nastran sol 600 when it converts spc's to what the marc deck call 'DISP CHANGE' which starts with the line 0, then a blank line, then what I asume is the displacement value (0 for fixed) for each degree of freedom.

It looks like the '0,' line is wrong (I assume this is the degrees of freedom) and the blank line is wrong (the node number).

With these error in the marc deck the sol 600 analysis quickly falls over.

The deck was meshed in hyperworks and imported to Patran to have all the sol 600 goodies added (in this case elastoplastic materials and contact).

I can see nothing wrong with the actual nastran deck the spc cards are quite straight forward.

If anyone else has come accross this and/ or solved it please can you let me know. Our support supplier is still looking into this issue so maybe its been refered back to msc.

Thnaks.
