I have need for a solenoid operated hydraulic valve that will allow the pump to bypass directly to the tank and hold the cylinder in the correct possition when not in use. I had thought that a 3 position open center was what I needed. Now after looking at the cataloges, I may need a tandem valve. It appears that the open center will allow the pump to bypass to the tank but may not hold the cylinder in position.

Any help?

Thanks in advance.
