Solid Oxygenator

I've heargd rumours about a solid chemical (presumably some form of peroxide) that is used for emergency re-oyxgenation of polluted rivers. Apparently it comes in the form of small sack whcih is thrown into the polluted water body and will oxygentae the water for a 6 hour period. Does anyone have the name of the product or even better, a supplier??
