Hello everybody.

I have a question. Someone knows why suppliers offer dual plate check valves with solid stellite in the plates' material instead of stellited overlay. And someone could give me information about the temperatures that this material could be resist. I am very interested in know if these valves with solid stellite trim can resist low temperatures -100ºC .

Thank you.

For dual plate check valves I would ask the experts at Goodwin UK, but I do not know if the do full stellite disks.
For sure Noreva Germany does nozzle check valves with full stellite disks, may this be an option?
If you just look for low temperature service, a full 316 stainless steel valve should work.

Usually manufacturer offer solid stellite disks due to more economical than stellite overlay if the valve is 2". Because the disk is too small.
Correct me if I am wrong.
