Hello all!
I'm glad there are so many tips and tutorials on how to use the Electrical Routing in Solid Works, but what I haven't found much on is how to *set up the components* they're using, the wires, and getting those XML files to *update when you do attempt to create a new connector*, etc.
The default connectors and such that come with the install aren't sufficient to do what I need to do, as many of you may already know.
I've tried it about 24 times now, and each time I can't seem to get the process right. I'm starting to wonder if it's user error or something weird about my file locations.
So, could anyone please point me in the direction of ACTUALLY getting started with the Routing package... from the actual START... not the "here's how you make wires and drag and drop connectors we already set up... oh, right... you don't know how to do that... hmm. Oh well!"
Thanks!
