solidworks drawings training manual in pdf 1

hello - just started taking the solidworks drawing training class this week - our company was too cheap to buy more then 1 copy for 5 people of the drawing training manual - is there an online copy in pdf that i can download my own copy - any help would be greatly appreciated - thank you

If you're taking the class at your VAR, the cost of the book is included in the cost of the class.

hello again - i checked w/ the instructor about this & he told us that they were not free & that they were $85.00 a piece - therefore my company only bought 2 & 1 was already taken by someone for their own personal use - any other help would be greatly appreciated - thank you - sucks when a company wants you to learn the software but refuses to give you all the tools to use it - we piss away more on trivial things then what really matters

Where are you taking your training class at? At the reseller you bought SolidWorks from or someplace else? The good SolidWorks value added resellers do not charge extra for the manual for the training class.

duk748, feel your pain, my company takes much the same approach, but at least my book was included.

If you want to "piss away more on trivial things then what really matters" just get the one book, take it to the copier and start copying. That'd be one expensive book, but you'd have one

Are you taking the training through a reseller or an independent trainer? If it's a reseller, I'd find another one. They aren't doing right by their customers, IMO. I've never heard of a VAR charging extra for training materials. If it is a reseller, I'd love to know which one.

duk748 Kinkos copys also, or just pony up the $85.00 and buy the book.It's your job you are trying to improve. Isn't it worth $85.00 to improve your value? I bought the license (single) of solidworks for the same reason, quite a few years ago, and don't regret the cost outlay.
