Does anyone know if I can down save a Solidworks 2015 file in order to open it with Solidworks 2014?

Thank you
P.M.

P.M,

As direct as I think you intend. No.

You can however save it as a step file then import into sw2014. Without featureworks you will loose all feature create history. If you have feature works you can have Solidworks attempt to recreate feature tree. Notice I used the word "attempt" my experience has been that solidworks usually doesn't succeed in recreating all the features. As with any conversion you will never get the exact thing you had in the original.

Best of luck,

Samuel

Parasolid is better than STEP or IGES for this since that is SW's native kernel.

Thank you very much for you responses.
