Hi,

The output datasheet includes von Mises values of Pm, Pb, Pm+Pb and Peak. which one is Q or F? If I want Pm+Pb+Q, that means use Pm+Pb plus Peak? What about Pm+Pb+Q+F?

Thank you for your help!

David

This seems to be a question more appropriate to be asked in the Solidworks forum.

I would caution you to verify, for yourself, that the linearization methodology implemented by any software is in accordance with the Code requirements. I would draw your attention, specifically, to 5-A.4.1.2(c) - I am not aware of any software that implements this correctly as a default (although most provide a compliant version as an option). Also, make sure that you perform the validity checks that are also in Annex 5-A.
