Hello,

Does anyone know where I can get a solution book for my old Fluid Mechanics 2nd Ed. 1986 by Frank White? Are there any good stores or web sites that I should check out?

I have looked online but can only find solution books for the 5th edition or later.

Cheers,
Petar

I agree the publishers should allow professionals access to their solutions manuals, but for whatever reason they choose not to. However, if you are a student you will get no help here, and you are likely to get a well-placed boot out of these fine fora.

I just looked at the latest Edition on Amazon. It has "Answers to Selected Problems" in the back of the book. Maybe the older Edition has that too, and the problem you need a solution for is there!

Good luck,

Thanks for the advice and pointers to good book search sites. I've used ABE books before but they only have the solution manual for the fifth edition.

I've been reading through some of my university texts and find I forgot almost all of the fundamentals that I learned twenty years ago.

I guess I'll just work through the examples and the problems that have solutions in the back of the text.

Petar

Thanks bimr. I didn't see that it came with a solution manual.

Maybe I need to check my eyesight as well as my memory.

At 50-55, those were the second and third things to start going on me.

Good luck,
