There's a lot of "oops" moments on Youtube if you look around. Stuff can fall the wrong way, hit power lines, etc. If you have one tree and one house, the tree will land on the house no matter how you cut it. Imploded stuff doesn't always fall apart like it ought to, and then you have a hazardous condition doing any more with it. I understand that cables, chains and hawsers can get exciting when breaking. (Once upon a time, a track loader was trying to get one of the big bobtail dumptrucks unstuck, and a chain broke. The hook went through the windshield of the truck and broke the rear window right next to the driver.)
