spaceball on win 7

Does anyone here know about its possible
to get a spacball 4000 FLX running at win7-64 ?

I cant find a driver for the 3D connection control-panel and the function overall.

Have you tried just installing the latest driver and see if it works? I ask since I'm able to use 3 different Spaceballs with my Win 7 laptop using only a single driver, the latest version released by 3DConenexion.

Load the latest driver and run in compatibility xp mode. I was on the tec support with 3dconexian and was given these instructions and it should work fine. We about to switch to Windows 7 and I had heard the space balls would not work any more so I stared looking. I have the complete instructions I was given at work I am at home right now if you have trouble I can post the full instructions.

the latest driver?
this is for xp 32bit - 3DxSoftware_v2-8-2.exe from 2006.
Does it run on win 7 64 bit.

Or do you mean the latest driver for any spaceball.
if it is what you mean , i cant figure out how the conrolpanel for 4000 flx will be installed , so i can customize the buttons ?

if you will i would be happy if you will send full instructions .
