The rule of thumb for seperation between cooling towers is twice the air inlet height.

True, but the thread is still searchable in a search engine like google. I wanted to make sure that the next person who comes across this thread see's the rule of thumb. Its about helping eachother, right?
 
As I recall, there are other issues to be addressed that affect "interference". knowledge of wind dirction and location of adjoinng tall buildings affects CT performance as well.
 
Given that no one has asked a similar question in the intervening time, one might reasonably conclude a general lack of interest.
