How do you type special characters like greek symbols (e.g. omega ?) in a text on a CATDrawing

Hello.
You can put in Ascii characters by holding down the Alt-key and typing the ascii code-number. There are several sites listing these codes, have a look at:

If you hold down the Alt key, type 234, you should get the omega-symbol. Be sure to use a font in CATIA which supports these symbols.

There's an easier way to get the basic engineering symbols into a text. Look at the top menu line for a toolbar called TEXT PROPERTIES. The icon on the extreme right lets you insert text symbols, and the omega is there. The icon has 3 symbols on it: Diam, Perpendicular and Symmetry. This icon is available many places in V5 where you type text.

If the symbol you want is not there, then use Bjod's method.
