Does anybody know any specifications for flanged pvc pipes? How are the flanges welded on to the pvc pipe? Are the flanges solvent welded? Can you have a bell end on one side and flanged end on the other? Thanks!

If in Australia/NZ I suggest you go to Iplex or Vinidex websites and download their manuals. All you questions will be answered there. If not check with your local supplier.

Flanged fittings are available to be solvent cemented to the PVC-U not welded. So yes you can have bell one end and flange another.

It is not like a solvent weld as in ABS pipe. The latter when cut shows no line between male and female fitting. Whereas PVC-U shows the "glue" line either green or blue depending upon brand of solvent cement.

So all pvc flanges are solvent cemented to the pipe? Are there any pvc flanges that are monolithic/molded with the pipe? Any websites to those?

Thanks!
