I AM CURRENTLY DESIGNING A NEW PRESSURE TEST RIG WHICH USES 10.75 MM SQUARE WIRE MESH AND LEXAN PLEXY GLASS AS SAFETY CONTAINMENT.
THE DESIGN IS BASED ON CURRENT FACILITIES THAT WE HAVE IN PLACE BUT AS PART OF THE HEALTH AND SAFETY RISK ASSESSMENT, DESIGN CALCULATIONS NEED TO BE ESTABLISHED.
I CAN USE HSE REGULATIONS FOR CALCULATING THE CONTAINMENT POTENTIAL OF THE LEXAN BUT HAVE NOT FOUND ANY FORMULAE OR GUIDE PAPERS OF CALCULATING THE CONTAINMENT OF MESH.
THE TEST RIG IT'S SELF WILL BE FULLY CONTAINED BUT WILL NOT HAVE LEXAN IN CERTAIN AREAS DUE TO LIFTING LIMITATIONS.
I AM LOOKING FOR ANY CALCULATORS OR FORMULAE THAT CAN BE USED OR DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF A CONTACT THAT HAS UNDERTAKEN THIS PROCESS ALREADY?
PLEASE HELP.
