Speed control of a DFIG

Hi,

I've a system built on simulink which includes an asynchronous machine working as a generator, feeded by a torque applied from a turbine (it's not a wind turbine/system). The system works ok when I use the asynchronous machine with a squirrel cage rotor (constant speed) but I want to develop it a bit more using a wound rotor on the Asynchronous machine in order to control the rotor speed.

So basically what I want it's a DFIG. I've tried to implement a vector control on a DFIG (similar to the ones used on Wind energy systems) but I'm not getting good results.

For someone, who is familiarized with vector control, they should know that there is a converter AC-DC-AC on which the Grid Side Converter keeps the DC voltage constant and the Rotor Side Converter controls the Active and Reactive power exchange between the rotor and the grid by controling the rotor speed which should follow a reference value. I've tried this but as I said, it doesn't work.

So what I want to know is, if there is some builtin system of a DFIG with vector control which I could use (the block of the wind system doesn't fit because the inputs doesn't apply in my case) and which receive as input essencialy the speed rotor reference and the dc bus voltage?

Thanks in advance!!
