spill oil recovery

I just graduated as Mechanical engineer. Now I working in a oil company. I need to propose a solution about spill oil(20 m3)in land. I need to know wich treatment should have a spill crude. If you know something about that please give a tip and as well if you now a good website.

This forum ay be a little off the mark for dealing with enviroment protection issues. How ever I would suggest first a visit to your regions version of the EPA then the fedral government (US) they will have guidelines for the handling of these types of events. Even the oil industry bodies may have guide lines to refer to.

Suggestion: Try "Civil/Environmental Engineers" and its subcategory "Waste and Disposal Treatment" in this Forum. Incidentally, there are quite a few engineering categories to visit, just in case that you would like to see how others look like.
