I am searching for information on how to design an upstream approach embankment for a spillway. Items I am trying to design are

Height and Length of Embankement from the center line of dam/spillway (Site is a local lake).
Selection/thickness of Rip Rap material.

Help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks
