Split balloon with attributes and callout

Hi

I'm using NX6. In drafting I'm trying to use ID symbol which is a divided circle. How can set top half as call out (system generated in part list) and bottom half as an attribute?

You can do the Attribute assignment with NX 6.0, but you can't associate the automatic Parts List 'Callout' letter/number until NX 8.0.

You cannot have the item number automatically put in, but you can do it manually.
You will have to create it in the annotation editor, and cut it from there and paste it into the ID symbol.

thanks! but in my case association with the part list is the key. otherwise every time the part list gets updated the manual text will be wiped off.

Well, you could always start lobbying to get upgraded to NX 8.0...

When your parts list gets updated the manual item number attribute that I explain will update too.
It will not be wiped off.
Give it a try on a small assembly.
