Dear engineers,
I am working on new medical device product with a telescopic mechanism of up and down using spring balancer with rope mechanism..Spring winch system got patented so im plannning to use compression spring instead of spring balancer..anybody here know about how to use compression spring to balance vertical telescopic arm as well as horizontal arm please help me. Thanks in advance.

Please watch this video for reference

the spring in the diagram should be tension not compression? how do you compress the spring using the rope unless you use solid components.

Yeah sir, Some peoples are using tension spring in garage door, other some of them using extension spring. but i want to know which spring can we use balancing the load on up and down motion with constant torque

We have no idea what it is that you are trying to balance or how torque is being applied. A schematic would be helpful.

Just rearrange the position of components so that instead of pulling on the spring your cable goes through it and compresses it.
You will need guides to prevent spring buckling.
And you need to rig the mechanical advantage so that your spring travel is shorter than the device travel.
