Spring Retaining Ball Joint 2

I need to create a 10mm metal ball joint like the one pictured and I'm wondering if anyone has any 3D files of something similar I could look at? Thank you!

Ok, maybe not. These cads don't have the retaining spring. so I'm still open to suggestions or 3D files.

No, but I don' think there are any springs involved. Inside the socket is a nylon liner, and some form of grease. They are very boring in principle but some manufacturers are easily twice as good as others.

Thank you Greg. I haven't seen any with the nylon insert. I've only seen them like this with retaining spring ring:

Metalfixer, thanks for the link! It's funny in the image they show the retaining ring but the 3D files don't have it.

Reverse engineering is an option, so buy one and dissect it with a cutting wheel.
 
Chicopee, true this definitely an option considering how inexpensive they are.
