What is the clearance requirement between sprinkler pipe and truss members? I couldn't find anything in NFPA 13

I have a situation where the contractors installed them so that they are actually resting on diagonal truss members.

Is it better to have the pipe resting on the truss rather than to have it less then 2" away from the truss incase it bangs against each other during seismic event?

Non seismic. Not sure if any clearance is required as long secured per 13

Is the pipe attached/hung from the top chord or is the pipe resting on the bottom chord? You may want to look at the structural drawings to determine if their are any special limitations on hanging of piping from them.
