SS 304L for NITRIC ACID(68%STRENGTH) 1

Hello Gentlemen,

Can we store Nitric Acid (68%) in carbon steel tank internally cladded with Stainless steel grade SS 304 L 2mm thk sheeting?what will be the corrosion rate?

I welcome your views on the same.

304L will do fine. Sedricks ( Corrosion of Stainless Steel) gives the corrosion rate at less than 0.005 inch/year at 90C. At room temperature, there's not anything measurable to worry about.
 
Schweitzer says less than 0.002 inches per year at room temperature.
