STAAD - Finite Element Analysis of Window Hinge

I am using STAAD to run a finite element analysis of a window hinge using plates. An image is for reference (

I am modeling this in a restrained or locked position so it will not be a mechanism. Is there a way to connect two overlapping plates together in different planes and restrain it to imitate the hinge point?

I am trying to figure out the best way to model this.
