STAAD Single Angle Local Axis Issue 1

Hello. I've been using STAAD.Pro for only a few weeks now with the CONNECT edition. I have a simple structure which will be covered with canvas and it made up entirely of single angle sections. When I model the angles, I'm rotating the cross-sections 45deg in order for them to be aligned with the global coordinate system (legs vertical/horizontal). STAAD models them along the principal axis by default instead of the geometric axis.

Anyways, member end forces/moments are in the local coordinate system, and the local coordinate system rotates along with the member and remains aligned/orthogonal to the principal axis. This means all of my shears and bending moments are askew and I am not able to get a simple vertical shear or bending moment. This is maddening to me. Is there a way to adjust this and align the local axis withe legs of the angle? I haven't found anything so far in the help literature or elsewhere, including STAAD support.

Thanks,
S17
