I need some help... I'm looking for some sort of book on STAAD. Just a beginners/learning to use type of book. Does anyone know if there is such a thing out there for purchase?
Thanks for all your help

I've never seen anything written by a third party, but you can check the REI website for more information on what material is available from the producers.

Their user manual isn't very complicated and always suited me the way it was set up.

Probably the best book available on STAAD is the Examples
Manual provided when you purchase the program. Get someone
who has the program to let you borrow the manual to see how
the command statements are used for different problems.

You can buy their Getting Started and Examples manual. I am not sure of the price, but I know it is less than $50. Also, as QShake pointed out, their entire manual is online in a Web-based format. So you could print it out yourself if you wanted to. They also have a lot of tutorials and examples on their site as well to help you get started.
