Hello all,
I'm working on a layout concept for a stack mold with one cavity on each side (2x1cav).
From the mechanical stability of the mold on the machine and the mold itself, what solution would you prefer (pleases see attached picture)?
My opinion:
Solution A
advantaged: Forces will be equally balanced avoiding reducing the momentum on the plate with the HR.
disadvantage: could it be that the mold open on the top? and we have flash? what will happen to the machine platen if the pressure applied is not at the center but offseted by some 400-600mm?
Solution B
We will have momentum on the plate with the HR.
Is this solution better to avoid flashing?
Thank you very much for your ideas and concerns.
