I am in the bioprocess industry and I see conflicting evidence for the compatibility of 316 SS and Guanidine HCl 6M concentration.

I have been told that corrosion is a big issue and I should look at higher grade alloys and accept the increase cost.

I have also been told that 316 is ok

has anyone got any definitive evidence to support either statement.
