Hello,

I am working on a senior design project and I will need a stainless steel pipe in a dimension of 103mm outside diameter. I have looked through couple of sites such as but could not find the inch dimensions. Can anyone tell my what 103mm is equal to as in inches?

My pipe charts list 3-1/2" pipe with an outside diameter of 4.00". However, after 25 years in engineering, I have never ever seen 3-1/2" pipe or fittings used for anything. So on paper, great. Actually getting a piece in hand, in stainless steel, may be difficult.
Depending on the application, you may find structural tubing or mechanical tubing that can be used.
3" pipe (3.5" OD) and 4" pipe (4.5" OD) are readily available.
