What would be compatible with
ASTM A193 Grade B8M strain hardened and carbide treated bolts
w/ ASTM A194 Grade 8M Strain hardened and carbide treated nuts
or
ASTM F593 strain hardened bolts and F594 strain hardened nuts

These are made of 316 alloys.

What would be an appropriate washer to go with this? Are there any specifications out there for stainless steel washers?

ASTM does not have a specification for stainless steel washers.

You could specify ASME B18.22.1 washers, then specify an ASTM materials specification like 316 according to ASTM A 240.

Or, you could choose an ISO standard like ISO 7089.

Cory
