Hello all,

Is there a ANSI/ASME/ISO or other standard for taking 7075 T0 and tempering to T6? Our facility is trying to bring the tempering process of our aluminum in-house and we are looking for a standard to get us started.

Thank you for your time

You need to obtain a copy of AMS 2770. In rough numbers, if you are starting with condition O, you will be solution treating anywhere from 880-915F, depending on product form. Water quench, then age at 250F for 24 hours.
